STEP 1: Choose Your Bike

Choose the model you’d like to customise.

Each frame is engineered for performance, durability and clean aesthetics - ready to become a bespoke piece through custom design.

​Base price + bespoke design fee apply.

STEP 2: Share Your Idea 

Send us your idea, inspiration, colours or references.

You can share photos, sketches or mood boards — or simply describe what you have in mind. We’ll review your request and recommend the most suitable design level based on complexity.

Design fees start from £105. Final pricing is confirmed after consultation.

 

STEP 3: Design Development 

Your concept is crafted individually - balancing proportion, colour harmony and graphic identity.​

Design tiers:

Simple Custom - £105-£150
Minimal layouts (how colours and elements are arranged across the frame), text elements, 1–2 colours, 1 graphic, clean lines.

Standard Custom - £180-£379
3–4 colours, layered compositions, patterns, gradients and graphics elements (symbols, shapes, minimal icons).

 

Design pricing reflects typical project scopes. More complex or fully bespoke concepts can be developed with a tailored quotation.

Each tier reflects creative time, revision scope and production complexity.

STEP 4: Paint & Craftsmanship

​

A £50 design deposit is required to begin the design process and is deducted from the final price. Deposits are non-refundable once design work has commenced.
Design concepts remain the intellectual property of Dr. Fixie until full payment is received.

Once the design is approved, your frame goes into production. Full payment is required prior to painting. Payments can be made via PayPal, credit or debit card.

Production time varies depending on design complexity and current workload.

STEP 5: ALL DONE​
Once your Dr. Fixie frameset is ready, we’ll send photos and videos prior to shipping. You can also follow parts of the painting process on our Instagram and Facebook.

Starting price applies to Simple Custom designs. More complex designs are quoted separately.

  • Aluminium & steel frames: Paint stripping included

  • Carbon frames: Please arrange professional sandblasting prior to delivery
